Ian McCartney and Ismail Kafescioglu have over thirty years of hands-on experience each — across startup ecosystems, FMCG ventures, and board-level roles in global corporations. Ian has built and scaled EdTech ventures from the ground up; Ismail took a concept to a multi-million-pound business in five years, building the commercial and manufacturing infrastructure as he went.

We built Focus15 first, and 4W1N grew out of it.

Through Focus15, we've worked directly with founders, week after week, watching where businesses actually get stuck. Almost never because the idea was bad. Almost always because of scattered priorities, unclear thinking, and a lack of real structure at the moment it mattered most.
